LET'S DE-STRESS WITH THANKFULNESS

"In everything give thanks;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
1Thessalonians 5:18

THANKFULNESS.

If stress survivors should pinpoint any one particular attribute, it is we're thankful.

Yes, indeed, we love the Thanksgiving season. The time of offering thanks to our Lord and Savior, and sharing love, laughter, and yummy foods with family and friends is a sure means to de-stress.

However, stress survivors don't wait for special occasions to give thanks. Because of God's great love and mercy toward us everyday, we share the sentiment that everyday is a day of thanksgiving.

Shackled with one stress after the other, but, by God's Grace, blessed to triumph over stress, we are extremely thankful.

Let's de-stress with thankfulness as we witness another Thanksgiving season. Be diligent to give thanks in everything--not necessarily for everything.

Above all, make it a glorious Thanksgiving experience!

Peace I leave with you . . .

LET'S DE-STRESS IN GOD'S LOVE

LOVE . . . God's Love . . . The Greatest Love.

The one love we can count on.
The only love assured to last always.
The utmost love recommended for stress.

Let's de-stress in God's Love
as we cling to our constant faith in Him--
with inspiration from Romans 8:35-39.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine,
or nakedness, or peril, or sword?"
. . .
"For I am persuaded
that neither death nor life,
nor angels nor principalities nor powers,
nor things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Peace I leave with you . . .

LET'S DE-STRESS DEVOTIONAL

"Mercy and Truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.
Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Yes, the Lord will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase."
~ Psalm 85:10-12

LET'S DE-STRESS DEVOTIONAL

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,
says the LORD,
thoughts of peace and not of evil,
to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11

LET'S DE-STRESS AND BE GLAD

"This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 118:24

During the past week, many have suffered enormous stress.

Death. Destruction. Disaster. Displacement. Countless cases of distress abound all around us.

As recent as a day or so ago, many of us were overwrought with stressful situations.

Even in these last twenty-four hours, some have suffered severe and insurmountable stress.

Yet, this day, although we've witnessed several stressful dilemmas, we're still blessed to see and receive God's amazing grace and mercy.

When stress survivors think of all things loved and lost, we think also of all that's left. This day is, in the words of one stress survivor, "Another day that The Lord has kept us."

Let's de-stress and be glad, knowing that in spite of whatever--whenever--wherever, God is still giving us blessings.

Peace I leave with you . . .
