"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth."

"BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR." Isn't that how the old saying goes?
Imagine, if you will, that each New Year guaranteed us one wish. Okay, what would our wish be?
No doubt, our wishes would include houses, cars, clothes, wealth and good health (and a few wishes for the opposite sex).
Try to imagine how many wishes would involve spiritual aspects? How many of our minds would soar beyond the tangibles and dwell on the true riches given by God?
Most stress-survivors have come to the realization that it's not nearly enough to be careful what we wish for, as it is to be prayerful with our wishes.

Presently, prosperity claims the highest sought-after stats than any single thing. Everyone is striving for more this and more that. Whether it's for sufficient or selfish reasons, we constantly want more. More. . .More. . .More!
John shares that we experience true prosperity as our souls prosper. In other words, prosperity blooms from the inside...out. Having a collection of worldly goods on the outside, but void of goodness on the inside is not what prosperity is about.
True prosperity is a lot like true love: Everyone that claims it doesn't necessarily possess it; and no one gains it by simply chasing wild and wacky schemes. True prosperity is acquired by those whose hearts are prepared to receive it.
Go ahead . . .make a wish . . .be prayerful what you wish for . . . and trust God to grant that extra-special something.
